Rodrigg
Is there a way to backup only the original images of the products in my store? It could be a free or a paid module. I have a lot of products, and I don't want to backup the whole "img/p" directory, with all generated thumbnails. The thumbnails, of course, could be regenerated. But not the original image. Carolina Custom Designs
Forgive me if this is a dumb question/statement but what did you do with the original images you used to upload when creating the product? You should be able to use those images as your 'original copy'. Just a thought. Marty Shue
Dh42
I can see the reasoning. I am not on a computer where I can access the location, but I am pretty sure they are just in the root of the img/p directory. The reasoning is it makes transferring and backing up the site easier in a sense. I had a client with 45k products once, it was easier to download the originals then just regenerate them as to try to download 400k images. It took like 6 hours in the que because the server limited me to 4 connections at once.

Hey Dh42, I'm having the same issue as OP, but my images are all automatically subdivided into folders based on product IDs. Within those folders are the original and all the generate thumbnails. Any ideas?
