universal analytics - google (tracking code)

Hello

After some efforts finally i installed google analytics and now i'm able to see my e-commerce on google analytics dashboard.

I was trying to install the tracking code

i would like to install for monitoring all the pages (all the categories and the various languages..)

you have to input your Google analytics code into Google analytics module and that's it. no need to insert into tpl files

I still have the same problem, can't get it working. Also the validation of the universal code at google analytics is failing every time

how did you succeed to instal the tracking code?

even if I use this code in the header, GA don't recognize my website

just put the code in the field and save. Make sure that module is in hooks displayfooter, displayHeader

I've put the code in the field with also hooks on header and footer

when I look at code page all seems to work

 

but when I look on universal analytics, google don't recognize my website

I've installed this module

now Google analytics updated the tracking state as ok, but still no visit counted on my analytics session even if I have visits on my website

Did you ever find solution?

 

We want to do A/B testing and heard that if you upgrade from google analytics to universal analytics you will not need to add additional tracking code.

 

However, now we see that upgrading to universal analytics seem just as difficult................(PS1.4.8)
