nachonat
Hi Guys, I am having a problem with the links on my top menu bar. They aren't clickable in internet explorer (im using 10) if they have sub categories in them. But they do work in Chrome and Firefox (V 36 & 31 respectivley). I'm on windows 7. My website is www.catering-equipment.co.uk. I have turned off CCC. For example, if you go into Catering Appliances, you can't click on any of the categories apart from "spares and accessories" as all of the others have sub-catetgories. The link shows up at the bottom and if i open the link in a new tab, that works. If anyone has ANY idea of whats going on that would be great! Thanks Nat EDIT: I've just discovered that if I unhide the 2nd level of subcategories in css, the links work. So it seems its a problem with the "display:none" code affecting the linking of the 1st level subcategory SOLUTION: It seems that if i use CSS to hide the "ul" element, the text on the parent item isnt clickable (still shows as link) but if i hide the "a" element, i can click on the parent. Also, i did get the advice about hiding the subcategories from this forum so this may help other users with the same problem Edited August 4, 2014 by nachonat (see edit history)
