how to delete products from an order before generating invoice.

hello

I am asking how to cancel products from an order before generating invoice?

i tried the cancel button i have in the right top and then selected the products i want to cancel from the order, and here is what happened after canceling 3 items of the order:

1- the items are still showing in the order as well as the order total hasn't changed.

2- when I click on the cancel items button again, the item that i had canceled at first doesn't have the check box nest to it anymore.

3- when the invoice is generated the items i canceled are still there, and are showing in the delivery slip.

 

how can i physically take the canceled items off the order and so the order total gets affected of the deleted items?
