Theme Kitchen Supplies Store - categories, languages

Prestashop version 1.6.0.8

I bought a template (Kitchen Supplies Store) and I imported it through Prestashop Import -

And i see some problems, what i wrote below, please help with this:

1) when I would like add New language and change status on Yes (to see language) it is problem with script (we do not see categories banners and header of "Featured products" is connected with homeslider... (see picture)

2) how to change names, links, pictures - categories bannners?

Hi gep,

 

it would be best to contact the author of the theme, as it's a custom theme with probably proprietary modules...

We could help you, if you were using the default 1.6. theme, but this it's hard to tell...I would suggest you to inspect modules tab in backoffice, as it's most likely that you will find the settings of the module on the homepage there.

did you add 2nd language translations to categories (and other areas)?

importing language will not create xlations of custom content

'most' all translations are done from back office-->localization-->translations

 

here you can xlate things like front office/modules/emails etc.

of course...

Solution is in: BO -> Module -> Module -> Theme configurator

there is Theme configurator for each language: 

Hook "Home" Hook "Top"

etc.
