Alt tags on homepage missing

Hi all,

 

Can someone give me a tip how I can implement Alt Tags for products which are displayed on my homepage in Prestashop 1.4.4?

 

My shop is at http://www.e-ciggy.com All alt tags in categories are working ok. Only I gave some problems with homepage.

I could not find any answers on the internet.

To fix those you will have to add them into the homefeatured module. That version of PrestaShop did not have them in the module. More than likely you are missing them all over the site as well and more than likely title tags on some links and images too.

Thank you for your fast response. On all websites I can see the alt tags, only not on the home page. Is there any way to fix it without making any updates? Maybe if I copy some files from Presta 1.6?

Not really, what you are going to have to do is edit the homefeatured.tpl file and add them in. The later versions are not compatible with the 1.4 version and is something that was fixed in the late 1.5 versions.

yes to date ps has made it basically impossible for module to extend a theme...so it's all manual hacks...so what you got is what you get
