Vilas
Hello Friends, I would like to know how to find reason behind slowness of back office? www.letsbuyproducts.com Thanks
El Patron
I've seen some have this issue and they resolved by making sure the .xml files under this folder were writeable http://screencast.com/t/0fFv3rNi9 you can also turn on debug profiling and then run slow page config/defines.inc.php define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', false);to define('_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_', true); note when set to true all visitors front/back will execute profiling then when you get that all tidy, see my module bozoom. but it's for PrestaNerd's and if you don't understand module, don't buy it. I can only work in the forum. use ftp program like fireftp addon for firefox for filezilla, right click file/folder to get permissions.
Vilas
Where I will get the above folder of whose permissions need to be checked? I can see that files have permission as 644 & folders have 755.
El Patron
those are perfect! I now related your post on front office 'not displaying', while they did display your shop is very very slow in front, so I think this is more hosting issue than ps issue. what sort of hosting are you using?
