Ann
Hi all !Following many trouble with my current hoster, I decided to change and I gave OVH a trial in order to test Prestashop . Every thing seems ok, but as I intend to settle 2 sites, I' d rather make sure there is no major drawback in being hosted by them. The test site seems to be running ok , but I heard about chmod777 . What does this mean exactly and in what way can the lack of this feature prevent my sites to run ok ? Thank you Ann
pedro2061
Hi Annchmod777 is just a write permision of your subdirectory or files. with an FTP program you should easy be able to set those permision. I use the free GoFTP ftp program it works very good. chmod666 those the same thing too. Hope this help.
