404 not found after deactivating cache

Hi

I was trying to improve my sites performance by deactivating cache under performance.

First i got a 500 error witch related to the .htaccess problem, so after deleting .htaccess i got in contact with my backend - but now i got a problem with my front end

 

It keeps making the following error:

Not Found

The requested URL /da/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

 

I have tried to reactivate cache without any luck

By the way how can i avoid having to delete .htaccess every time i make a system change in my backend?
