El Patron
for migration of one shop to another, many use this service http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com there may be other methods for your old cart posted withing the forum, so worth doing some searching (don't use forum search) use say google search. as for responsive, out of the box, yes default theme, so if you change themes, make sure responsive.

lse123
I guess my old cart is mostly self developed - custom... can build my PrestaShop db, using manual actions, from old database? is any way, in a directory upload massively my product images with FTP? El Patron
can have auto downloads after purchase of downloadable goods? yes, the current drawbacks (mostly solved with 3rd party modules) is: no virtual packs (see product packs) no combinations for virtual products (see product attributes). how it works customer adds v product to cart-->completes purchase path-->receives download link (but can also download from their order page) there are basic config for v products, #times can be downloaded, how far into future they can down load. we hope in future v products have same capability as hard products.... El Patron
If you have non--prestashop cms and want to migrate to prestashop build a test installation with demo data. export thee demo data, look at format, build csv export from your non-ps shop...and import into test shop. practice this as you might find it's very possible without 3rd party... remember for test, if you goof it up..just delete it and put in new install...this is good practice also.
