[SOLVED] Youtube video don't show in CMS page of Prestashop 1.6.0.8

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using Prestashop 1.6.0.8 and the default template.
I want to put a youtube video in a CMS page. When I put the iframe code of the video into the page and go to the front end you can not see the video.
---- I enabled in Preferences> General

Iframe in HTML fields and Use HTMLPurifier Library

I also commented on a line of code in CSS ---> validate.php
as read in an online tutorial

but even if I did everything that I said above the video in the CMS page is not seen.

Help me please

Best Regards

i'm posting this here because prestashops, for some reason, isn't allowing me to post new threads, it sends me to www.prestashop.com after i create it and it ends up not showing in the thread list:

i embedded youtube videos in the description of all my products using firefox, so when i tested them, they worked fine, but now im recieving complains that people who watch them using chrome. basically, they pause the video but the audio keeps going.

is there any way to fix it? preferably without having to change every video 1 by one

thank you in advance

im affraid that it's not a case of prestashop but a problem with youtube

everything what you see in "move" window it's a part of youtube, not prestashop

Hi vekia,

when I save the CMS page where I icorporato the iframe youtube code I do not see error messages. It all happens on a regular basis. He tells me that the page has been properly saved.
But the video is not seen in the front end.

what code you see in front office? are you able to review it?

Yes, but when I put the code into the Iframe module EDITOR on the home page you see the video. Not only see it when I put it in the CMS page.
I also saw that when I put the code in the CMS page and I click on the button "save and preview" the video in the preview you can see but not be seen, however, in the front end.

Best Regards
