used to be able to login but now i cant

hope someone can help with this

i installed the new version 1.2.5.0 and was able to login to the backend and add categories and items to sell

now i am unable to login to my backend and i get 'dead' redirects

let me explain...

my admin url displayed is http://www.download-estore.com/adminXXX/login.php?redirect=index.php

i then enter my login details and this takes me to http://www.download-estore.com/adminXXX/login.php?redirect=5/index.php which displays the same login page without any errors such as wrong password or unknown employee

i then enter my login details again and it takes me to http://www.download-estore.com/adminXXX/5/index.php telling me "We're sorry, but the Web address you entered is no longer available"

i deleted all my cookies and my cache to no avail ... i also tried login with chrome with the same problem

any ideas what is wrong and how i can access my backend once again?

ps just tried with opera and the same problem occurs ... i had created a dummy customer account with different email and password and strangely i can login to that account ... i just can no longer access my backend

i have resolved one problem and that is the http://www.download-estore.com/adminXXX/login.php?redirect=5/index.php with the 5 in it that led to dead url

however i am still unable to login at all ... deleted cookies and cache but no go

if i dont know what is wrong, what is the point of doing a fresh installation as it could easily happen again ... talk about wasting time on this ... ggrr!!!!

anyone have any idea? please?

problem solved although i have no idea why ... i reloaded a fresh copy of Cookie.php in the Classes folder and was able to login 2 out of 2 ... let's hope for the best
