social networking block and categories block not showing any data

Hi there,

 

Just started my very first project with prestashop and i'm having trouble showing the content of two modules in my footer:

 

- Social Networking Block

- Categories Block

 

Hooked the two modules along with other 2 modules but somehow it's not showing anything (just the title) in the footer.

1) make sure that you have correct configuration of module: block categories

on module configuration page you can define how many columns you want to display in footer, make sure that you haven't got there 0

 

2) the same, make sure that you configured links to social networks, if there is no links - nothing will appear in block (exactly as you have right now)

1 - for the block categories the columns were 1, but i found out that the "maximun deph" were set as 1 when i changed it to 0 (that means infinite) starts working.

2 - for the social i checked and it was not set correctly, my bad!

actually the "Pinterest" field isn't working properly, i had to move my link to RSS field and change the title . it's not the best solution, but worked!
