webbusiness23
I tried to increase the images size from 600x600 to 800x800. After i edited the numbers, i clicked the regenerate thumbs button and after a short while i got a 500 error from browser. After that, almost all the images are not being displayed on the site.I tried putting back the 600x600 dimensions... and again clicked the regenerate thumbs button, but i got the same browser error again. So now 90% of my images are not displayed. Can you help me?Thank you!
webbusiness23
I solved this one. It was a little bit tricky. I had to download all the products' images and regenerate them with Photoshop batch and then re-upload them.Even is i solved the images problem, now i still don't know how to re-size them, because if i do what i did before, I'll have to regenerate them and the regeneration process took me quite a while do that. b3tw33n
This problem is not solved. Can you change the status of this thread, because this really needs to be dealt with. Everyone can't expect to generate thumbnails manually. I have been having this problem for a week now. help???
brandonc503
yea im having same problem. did this get solved?
b3tw33n
well i wouldn't call it solved, but you can do the workaround that 'webbusiness23' did, which is download all your images to your computer and resize them photoshop. you can make an action script in photoshop and then batch process them. for now it seems the prestashop resizing function is just too buggy unless you have very few products on your site. best of luck.
