cqcny
Hello,I am having a difficult time figuring out the best way to set up a coupon code for our specific use. I am sure this has been requested before but I can't seem to find anything in the forums that relate to our special needs. We want to offer a 10% off coupon code for our grandopening special. We will be putting this code on print marketing materials and posting on the web for all to use.• We would like the code to offer 10% off the lowest price product in their cart. If only one product in cart, the 10% is applied to that product.• We would like the code to be used only once by the customer. We don't want users to use the code day #1, then come back the next day/week and be able to use the same code again.• We have guest checkout enabled and need the code to work for guests and customers that are registered. We thought about doing separate coupon codes but that would take forever to manually input and also be very expensive to print. We also thought about adding an expiration date to the code, but that still doesnt stop people from using it multiple times.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! vekia
1) you can select option to apply discount only to selected products http://i.imgur.com/RkZWrtB.png 2) you can create code with "quantity per user" option where you can specify how many times customer can use voucher code 3) each customer who want to order something must have an account (even "guest" order is based on account) - simple code will work for everyone
