Unable to change settings in Preference-Products

Hi,

 

I'm trying to change the settings in the Preference Product page.

However I get these four errors:

 

4 errors 

1. Can not add configuration PS_CATALOG_MODE
2. Can not add configuration PS_NB_DAYS_NEW_PRODUCT
3. Can not add configuration PS_PRODUCT_SHORT_DESC_LIMIT
4. Can not add configuration PS_QTY_DISCOUNT_ON_COMBINATION

 

Anyone who can help me out?

I did everything suggested in your post but only got the exact same information as before.

 

4 errors

can you check something in database?

go to ps_configuration table and verify if these fields arent duplicated there if so - remove duplicated entries

Hi woutmar, Vekia's suggestion is related to your shops mysql db.

 

Using phpmyadmin (for example) navigate to ps_configuration and remove any duplicates you might find for the fields mentioned above.

The learning curve at the moment is pretty steep....

Checked ps_configuration in the mysql db and there are no duplicates at all. So that's a dead end?

your case needs a little deeper analysis, so im affraid that someone will have to check your shop and investigate a little

i mean, access to back office, database and to the ftp will be necessary

Vekia is right. Someone is need to check your site and DB.

Meanwhile you can manually  change values in DB from 0 to 1 OR 1 to 0 for

1.  PS_CATALOG_MODE
2.  PS_NB_DAYS_NEW_PRODUCT
3.  PS_PRODUCT_SHORT_DESC_LIMIT
4. PS_QTY_DISCOUNT_ON_COMBINATION

This will change your setting.

And for permand solution have someone to check your site and DB
