ZikmaSolutions
I added from mysql about 170 categories... its work great... But i just copy/paste tables from 1.5 presta to 1.
vekia
if your host has got some restrictions related to script execution time, mysql query time etc. it will be great if you will split your import to several portions, for example: 4-5 (10 000 per file) - you will avoid problems with exceeding resources. you can also import categories with great software like store manager, it has got free version (30 days)
jasne
I've imported all categories. But now when I trying save changes after editing category, prestashop saves and works like a harm during over few minutes.. Perhaps presta ordering sql table ps_category field nright and and nleft... that's way all take long time.. When I just opening category (frontend) have to wait long time...
