Thanx and have a nice day Im looking for a clen method too. How should I override my theme files and its overrides? In a way so that I can update the theme or the core or whatever, with my changes isolated? Is that possible, cause now im just writing a unique comment all the places I make changes to my theme files thanks Edited October 18, 2014 by michaelhjulskov (see edit history)
LouAdrien
Hello! I would be interested in finding a clean solution to handle that problem too, did you find one? The ultimate goal is to be able to override a theme's templates on the side, so that it is still possibly to update this 3rd party theme if there is an update. Thanks! dioniz
Simply copy default theme to a new folder, make it current in Preferences > Themes, and make changes to your new theme.
