thezey
Hello, According to several sources, my website is slow. I just ran a seo test that converges with the earlier statement. I checked the Advanced Paramaters > Performances settings (please see screenshot attached), but I'm unsure how to set those up the right way. Could you please give me some advice about website performance settings? Thank you

thezey
A site's performance depends on various things, mainly from the quality/power of the hosting. Are you on a shared hosting? Dedicated? something else? Number of products/combinations? I'm on Bluehost shared hosting. I have about 10 products and no combinations. I agree, hosting is critical when it comes to speed. But can I setup something in my website that would improve speed?

El Patron
in your original screen shot you have not enabled Apache Optimization, this will enable gzip and mod expires and if you hosting supports it will put some giddy up in your shop.

I had a Bluehost representative but he quite didn't know about it. Do you know whether Bluehost supports Apache Optimization? If yes, how can I enable it? NemoPS
Ah but you can ignore those, they are only telling you you need those systems if you want to use any of the caching options available
