prestatent
Prestashop 1.5.4.1 Hi My problem: One product, 3 combinations: Red - 10 items in stock. Blue - 0 items in stock. Due in 1st August Green - 0 items in stock. Never due back in as stock is finished. I want to allow out-of-stock ordering and show the date when the product is in stock. I've setup everything up correctly and the product is allowed to be ordered when out-of-stock and shows the correct date. However it also allows the "Green" product combination to be ordered and shows the date, which is wrong. What is the correct way to resolve this? In a previous version of PS I altered template and js files to check stock levels < 0 as I had set the quantities of these type of products to be -99999, so effectively out-of-stock and will never be back in stock. This solution worked but was very fiddly to implement. The reason I want to do this is because we have hundreds of products which are updated every day by a program I created to use a stock feed from our warehouse. Any ideas boys & girls? Thanks. prestatent
Has anyone come up against this problem. A solution would be to allow dates on each product combination to show when in stock, but this isn't an option. Another option would be to not show combinations out of stock, but if out-of-stock ordering is switched on, understandably this is not a solution. This could maybe be included in updates to PS.
