How to remove 'By Prestashop' in Facebook shares

Recommended Posts

I have removed 'powered by prestashop' from cms block, index meta. It doesn't say "powered by" in the share either, but still.

How do I remove that it says on facebook shared links 'By PrestaShop'?

Hie how did you remove powered by which file is it in?

thanks

you have to define open graph tags, after that use facebook debugger tool (paste url to pages where "powered by" appears)

When I do that the "by prestashop" doesn't show up. Same goes for when I share.... I don't see it on my own profile looking at the status, only on the feed (where everyone elses statuses show as well). :S

I did and it doesn't show up there at all. However, I found by checking in header.tpl that it says:

<meta name="author" content="Prestashop 1.5">

So I removed that, and now the "by prestashop 1.5" is gone. :)
