[SOLVED] Product Price Disappearing from Product Page 1.6,0.8

Hi,

This is only happening with products that have combinations.

When you go to a product page of a product that has combinations, as the page loads the correct price is displayed, however, once close to completing the page load, the price turns to Au$0.00 as you watch the page load. Changing e the combination selection does not bring the price back up either.

Example: https://www.advantagelife.net/ladies-hand-and-sholder-bags/37-chw-natural-ladies-round-rattan-handbag.html   Keep an eye on the price.

  • Prestashop 1.6.0.8
  • Multi shops is not activated.
  • As it happens these products are listed in a second warehouse, not the main one where the rest of the products are listed. Using Advanced Stock Management.
  • The theme is not the default theme.
  • Quantities have been added for each combination of the products, however, a total does not show in the Stock Management table, you have to drill down to the combination list.
  • When you go to Products -> Catalog, the products in the list that have combinations are displayed as having "0" Quantity even though a product may have 4 combinations of 1000 each entered. This seems a bit strange to me as the combinations are not listed separately in this list.
  • Each combination of a product has the same cost/price.
  • Quantities of the product is set to Advanced Management based on stock in the warehouse.

Hopefully someone can point out something that I've overlooked to get this working correctly.

Thanks

Hi DevHQ,

Thank you for looking, however, the link you provided back is to a product that has no combinations and therefore it works.

If you go to the link I provided in the description ( https://www.advantagelife.net/ladies-hand-and-sholder-bags/37-chw-natural-ladies-round-rattan-handbag.html ) or to any other product that has combinations, you should see the issue.

When you said it was OK I tested it in three different browsers. The error kept occurring and then I realised the test link you sent was to a product that has no combinations and therefore has no problems.

Again, thanks for looking and I would appreciate it if you can test if the issue happens for you with the link above.

Thanks

Thank you El Patron,

The fix as per found in your link was to go to the /themes/yourtheme/product.tpl page and replace {$group_reduction} with {1-$group_reduction}

This does not seem to effect the products that do not have combinations so all seems good.

Apparently, this problem started in or about version 1.6.0.8. It was not in 1.6.0.5

Thanks again.
