Change the "No Image Available" graphic

Recommended Posts

Hey there,

I'm just starting to set up my Prestashop. I'm trying to find and change the "No Image Available" graphic, that shows up on all my subcategories (I have a lot of them!).

I know that the "No Image Available" graphic auto-generates from somewhere as a thumbnail, but I can't find where. I believe it's called "en-default-medium" somewhere, but I can't find the right one.

Can anyone help? Does anyone know where to find this image?

Thanks!

You can change the "no image" picture in Back-end under the Tools tab -> Languages. You can see the list of languages used in your site. Click the edit link of the language which you are going to change the image. In a "No-picture" image field, browse and select the image you want. Lastly, click save.

Hope this will help you guys and to others looking for the same solution..

I did it, but it still shows as "no image" in the front end.

Although the new image was successfully uploaded to the server.

no, you don't have to regenerate thumbnails.

if you upload new image to your back office (where you can upload images for "no image")

does it appear well in BO ?

Hello Vekia,

I am not sure where to check in BO for a preview of "no image"

I have uploaded the image from Localization - Languages - EN

the updated image is visible in the server img folders, but is not showing up on the website

Hello.

The thumbnail is generated from 'add picture' in each individual categorysettings.

catalogue  >  categories  >  settings

I am looking for a way to disable this thumbnail though, any ideas?

Though I only want to see it gone from manufacturers.

Cheers!   :)

in category.tpl file remove <img> code related to this image, you will disable it on each category page.

Thank you.

Disabeling the thumbnail from manufacturerslist is the same for manufacturers.tpl?

Forgot to mention that is is from manufacturers overview that I want it to be gone.

in this case you have to modify manufacturers-list.tpl file

Is it possible to make the manufacturers-block-title not as a link.

So there would be no manufacturers list page (because my list is on all pages as a module)

Thanks anyway! Best regards
