Default theme configurator module modification

I am using Prestashop 1.6.0.8

 

Theme configuratior module gives us an option to add some images under the slider. They are easily added in back-office and can be linked pretty much to everything - which suits my needs (products, CMS and external links needed). The problem is, that I would like to have 3 images, but shown randomly from the pool of, lets say, 10. I could't find any module that was doing something like this and I thought that default might be enough - after some modifications.

 

I have 2 solutions in mind - only 3 out of 10 added images are hooked, or all are hooked, but only 3 of them are shown. Random new panels on every page load/refresh.

 

Now here goes my question, or rather two. Where do I find file with script responsible for displaying those images (couldn't find it) and is that even possible to do?
