xmilo
hey, I created a store with a store owner for that store. When I login as a store owner and uninstall one of the module, that module is "uninstalled" across the entire stores. Per permission settings, if I don't give "configure" permission to this module, the store owner cannot edit contents. And even if "configure" permission is NOT given to the store owner, the store owner can still "uninstall" a module... just tested... Is this solvable? If this is not possible to manage in a right way, I cannot build a manageable shopping mall with prestashop .... anyone with idea? thanks.
El Patron
Try enable and disable by shop rather than uninstall.
xmilo
thanks for quick response. sorry, I didn't mention that I am trying to give 3rd party people store space into my website.(trying to build a mall with rented out spaces) so, If I or my employees are all my concern, than I wouldn't worry. But in this case, unless I block modules from being uninstalled, they will do it at least by mistake.... I think this need be handled from prestashop if this multistore concept is going to be improved any further. thanks.

PS isn't designed with the thought of creating one back office with different 'permissions' by shop. At least not yet.
xmilo
I think I heard that sometime about a year ago ... thanks for reminding me... Where I can look at to make this "uninstall" and "delete" button don't show up at module admin page for other than superadmin ? at least that will do the trick for now ... hope someone reply to this... El Patron
one could not separate so many things, like products, categories, sales etc. from one user (shop) to another that dwelling just on modules may sort of be kidding ourselves. good luck
