Mallee Boy
The back end asks for wholesale prices in the products page and my stat tell me my sales turnover. Is there a way for the shop to calculate my gross profit (Sale Price minus Wholesale price) in prestashop?
andrew
That would be perfect - and save me doing it in Excel!- Andrew
sm3004
I seriously cannot believe no one has thought of this. It is ridiculously logical that ANYONE with a business would need to do accounting and see what profits they are making, I mean, what is the point of having a wholesale field in the backend if I can't do something as basic as using those figures to calculate how much profit I make?!?!?Sometimes I wonder about PrestaShop, it has potential, but I often come across the most basic of things that have been completely forgotten, as if whoever wrote it has never run a business before... I have searched hours for a module and have come up empty handed.

Pippo3000
I totally agree!! yep, same here. actually that was one selling point to use PS instead of other as PS accepts wholesale prices. except that I found out much later that PS does do nothing with this information. anyway, just found this http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/50179/#273080though no time to install and test yet. any takers?phil
