piku
Hello! After reading the override guide here: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Overriding+default+behaviors I created the following CSS file: /themes/my-brandnew-theme/modules/blocktopmenu/css/superfish-modified.css Sadly this has no effect on the styles used for the top menu. What am I missing? plz help, thx, piku
PSfever.com
Hi, how about placing .css file into this directory /themes/my-brandnew-theme/css/modules/blocktopmenu/superfish-modified.css ? Have you tried that?
vekia
path for superfish-modified must be a little different: /themes/default-bootstrap/css/modules/blocktopmenu/css/superfish-modified.css
piku
thx, this seems to work, though I do not understand if this is an override exception or all modules should be like that ... Anyway: Thank you very much! cheers, piku
vekia
just analyse structure of module directory if css stylesheet file is stored in some directory (/modules/blocktopmenu/css/) it must be stored in the same directory also in /themes/default-bootstrap/css/modules/blocktopmenu/css/)
piku
Just to add to this thread for reference: I found that if I copy the original CSS file of the module to the specified location I also have to copy the CSS images folder "img" because the new stylesheet does not find the relative paths of the images used within. Obviously the override system doesn't look for the images in the original modules location if the CSS file is overridden. That's something to consider.... thx for the effort, piku
