How to remove a folder from rewrite url

I have a my own folder with custom html & php files. How to remove it from rewrite url.

 

ie: http://domain.com/folder

 

I tries to change .htaccess but always get message 404.

okay, in this case we have to modify .htaccess file

at the begining of the file use this:

where http://mypresta.eu is url of your website

There is a file .htaccess in that folder. i don't know where it comes from. I deleted it and now folder worked. Thanks so much.
