hurray
Hi, Is there a way to have "Layered navigation block" interegrated into the "category block" instead of having it outside of it? In other words, if I have a filter with "length" as attribute for "Chain" category, can I have the filter appear right under the category "Chain" and not outside the "Category Block" when the customer clicks on the category "Chain"? Thanks.
NemoPS
No, not by default, because they are 2 separate modules. You might be able to achieve something by editing tpls and php files, but things... will probably get really messy if you do it. You might just want to modify the layered navigation slightly and add the category name on top
hurray
Hi Nemo, Thanks for your reply. I had seen your video on youtube about this. It was quite informative but did not address my concerns. The problem I have is, my category block looks like this: Silver Jewellery Silver Pendants Silver Rings Silver Earrings Plastic Jewellery Plastic Pendants Plastic Rings Plastic Earring For example, the sub-category rings, have attributes like "Size" and "Color". Right now if I click on the sub-category "Silver Rings" I get to the page with all the silver rings. Then below the category block, appears layered navigation block with filters like "Size" and "Color". Now this is not very clear to the customer, especially if he/she does not look below the category block. It wil get even worse, if the category block has lots of categories, thus pushing the layered navigation block very low on the page. It would be really nice if the filters "Size" and "Color" appeared just below "Silver Rings" when the customer click on this sub-category "Silver Rings". So Nemo, do you have any suggestion for me as so how I can get this done? Thanks in advance for you help.
NemoPS
Hm, well as I said it's pretty complex. The fastest solution would really be to try and add the category name on top, otherwise, I'd have to think about how to do it, myself, as it would be complex. If you get rid of the category block you might use the sub-category filter
hurray
Hi Nemo, What do you mean by "The fastest solution would really be to try and add the category name on top,". I don't understand.

hurray
Hi Nemo, When my layered block navigation filters products, the images of the products disappear. Do you know why?
