Manufacturers block drop down does not return query

Hi 

I'm having problem with the Manufacturers block drop down block on my page. When I select one of the manufacturer from the drop down it doesn't return anything it's just idle. Anyone encounter the same issue ?

I mean, this is how I still solve quite a lot of problems, even in Prestashop.

If that does not help, try downgrading the blockmanufacturer to an older version (you can get these in older version of Prestashop, let's say 1.6.0.4, 1.6.0.5. etc..)
