[solved] Drop-down is not working, not menu, not cart, not Ajax (missing JavaScript)

I have just bought and installed the Tool Shop template by Prestathemes. I have bought templates from them earlier, but this time something is wrong. I actually think it has something to do with my store, and not the theme.

 

Nothing which uses ajax works. Drop-down megamenu do not work, cart in header do not work, horizontal menu do not work as it should, and quick-view of products do not work.

 

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Go to the site and you will se the horizontal menu impossible to use, and the megamenu (red to the left of search field) should be drop down, it do not drop down, and the cart in the header should also drop down.

 

When mouse-over a product it should display a small "quick view" button...it don't.

 

It seems like a ajax problem. Any ideas?

take a look how your console looks like

 

a lof of js errors

have you tried to contact with developer of this theme? it's buggy

I looked at the shop, and it's missing the JavaScript.

 

I am guessing that you have upgraded from 1.6.0.6 to 1.6.0.7 or .8.

 

If my guess is correct it may be that your theme/header.tpl no longer has the call to load .js files, see this post; http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/338300-solved-1607-no-js-files-loaded/

Yes, I have upgraded from 0.6 to 0.8.

Note: try this and then test your front office, you want your JavaScript to be loaded bottom, this makes your page render much faster.
