Please help setup my webpage! Problem with first page.

Hello!

Please help me setup my prestashop based webpage.

I`m new in making websites, but want setup it by myself.

I have instaled prestashop to my hosting, but I have problem with first website page.

when I whrite in url like: www.mysitename.com opening white page with text: 

Index of /

• cgi-bin/
• images/
• postinfo.html
• prestashop/

But my instaled prestashop website opening only when I type in url: www.mysitename.com/prestashop/prestashop/

 

Please help me! What I need to do!

I whant when I type my domain name in first page opening my instaled prestashop!

I know it can be changed with making or changing index.html or index.php file.

But how to do that!

you installed prestashop in subdirectory /prestashop/

instead of this you had to install it in root directory of your hosting

 

if you don't want to install prestashop again, just copy contents of /prestashop/ directory to root dir of your hosting.

then go to preferences > seo & urls and change base uri field to /
