Best way to make shipping estimates easier (pushed to the top)?

Hi all,

 

Prestashop looks pretty appealing to me with the 1-page checkout, but I have one major gripe:

 

The shipping estimate is buried down on the page after you fill out all of your shipping info.

 

What I'd ideally like to do is:

 

1.  Create a field near the very top of the order summary that lets them input their zip code

2.  After submitting, gives them their immediate shipping options so they can easily see their true total price without going through 1/2 the order form

3.  Takes the zip code they used above and pre-populates in in the full form below.

 

Are there any modules out there that do this already, or how difficult would this be to do?

 

Is this more theme related, or does it require a custom module?

You can do this by updating the order-opc.tpl file (edit the code to place shipping as you want). for autofilling the form and all you will need to code a little..
