Limit access for an employee

Hi,

 

I need to hire someone to add products to my site and i was wondering if there's a way of limiting the access of an employee to only the products that he added?

 

Example: 

 

1. I have 5000 products so far.

2. the employee adds another 100 products

3. when he is logged in, he can see only those 100 products that he added 

 

So, is there any way to accomplish this?

Hi, sorry there is no way in native PrestaShop to accomplish this.

Is there any other way to protect my work from new employees? 

I need to make sure he will not edit / delete existing products.

it is possible, but only with modification of the prestashop core.

it's not as easy as it seems because changes like that will deal with most important part of shop (products database) and product edit pages logic.

 

this is why it's necessary to do it (apply changes to core) carefully.

if i were you, i will create a topic in job offers section

im convinced that no one will do it for free on public forum because it's necessary to change a lot of thigs, and it's just impossible to write solution in several posts
