eric_guillemot
Dear Prestashop community, I am Hosted by DREAMHOST, after I have Successfully :- created a new mysql database.- launched prestashop install web page, provide database info, andSUCCESSFULLY conduce database test connection My prestashop installation (Version: prestashop_1.6.0.8) stops at twelve percent with error messsage : "impossible to create a table of the database" (see screenshot 1) BUT on the management side of the databases it shows that the installer has been able to create 222 tables in it (see screenshot 2) After having tried many times with various WEB navigators and or deletion and recreation of the my_sql database I am always blocked at 12% with the same error message..I have found on the web other people reporting similar issue, and especiallyone with DREAMHOST hosting (see screenshot 3). The problem seems to be due totime out stuff on php.ini or database. but I do not find anywhere that php.ini fileIf someone has a nice Idea?? Dreamhost does not repond to me for the time being Dreamhost parameters are : Apache Version du client MySQL: mysqlnd 5.0.10 - 20111026 - $Id: e707c415db32080b3752b232487a435ee0372157 $ Extension PHP: mysql

You need to contact your host for specifications, here is the blog post. http://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/where-is-php-ini-file/
eric_guillemot
Dear Benjamin, Thanks for your response, in the interval, Dreamhosts comes back to me (but it does not solve) with mandatory settings for a phprc file located in a /home/username/.php/5.4 or /home/username/.php/5.3 : max_execution_time = 3600max_input_time = 3600memory_limit = 150Mupload_max_filesize = 25Mpost_max_size = 20Mmax_input_vars = 10000suhosin.get.max_vars = 10000suhosin.post.max_vars = 10000 They do not say anything about my search for php.ini, and come back to me with that prc files. It doesn't solve my issue, whatever PHP version 5.3, 5.4, whatever new fresh php server, and fresh database, I keep going on being blocked with the same error. Their last response was now : "I'm sorry about the issues that you are still seeing. I suggest that younow check with the Prestashop forum and see if theyhave any suggestions for the issues that you've been seeing:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/It seems that this issue might be a bug in the prestashop installerprocess. If they say that this still seems like a serverrelated issue let us know and we will continue to help you troubleshootthis issue further.Best regards,Jay T " Could you help me further telling me if PRC file is equal to php.ini ? Many thanks in advance. Eric
