Prestashop 1.4.8.2 compatible with php 5.5?

Would just like to ask if anybody know if version 1.4.8.2 is compatible with php 5.5?
My hosting provider is updating it´s system to php 5.5.

Thanks, but I assume those requirements are for the latest version, not 1.4.8.2?

To install PrestaShop on the Internet:

• A domain name
• Web server: Apache 1.3, Apache 2.x, Nginx or Microsoft IIS
• PHP 5.1+ installed and enabled
• MySQL 5.0+ installed with a database created
• FTP access (ask for your credentials)

OPTIONAL

• In the PHP configuration ask your provider to set memory_limit to "64M" and file_max_upload_size to "16M"
• SSL certificate if you plan to process payments internally (not using PayPal for instance)
• Optional PHP extensions: GD, cURL, SimpleXML, SOAP
• To improve performances: MemChached, mcrypt PHP extension

I have the same question, and so the answer is YES ?

 

"PHP 5.1+ installed and enabled" is not not really specific, because I doubt it will be compatible with all future releases of php....

on 1.4.9.1 i have some problem with auto generate rewrite links if import products after upgrade php from 5.4 to 5.5....

PHP 5.5 did not exist when PS v1.4.8.2 was released.  So while many things may work, don't expect them to ALL work.

I had a trouble with my site  prestashop 1.4.8, suddenly shopping cart was not loading products (cart empty), sometimes i cleared the cookies of the web browser and it worked again, sometimes i could not add two items two the cart it erase one.

After thinking what could have gone wrong, i found out cheking my Cpanel - PHP Config that my provider has changed the PHP version from 5.4 to 5.6 without notice.

I reset to 5.4 and Now it´s working fine.
