Mail notification / no mail alert if order/products have changed?

We have prestashop 1.5.6.2 with mail alerts module 3.3 running and faced the following problem.

 

We got an order for product A. The customer later called us and asked to change the product from A to B. We did this change directly in the back office. However, no new mail alert was generated when replacing the product. The stock employee sent the wrong product A based on the initial mail alert. Since he did not receive a new alert, he wasn't able do determine the changed order.

 

Is there a way to send mail alerts also if an order has changed, specificly if the product(s) change?
