thezey
Hi, I would like to set a handling fee when an order is over 1kg. How to create such a rule? Thank you in advance! P.s: I have two option carriers and shipping cost is calculated according to weight range. I also have free shipping over $
NemoPS
You can use the carrier creation wizard, just click on a carrier, you will have the ranges tab at the bottom of the third tab (in the same one you can choose to price carriers by item price or item weight)
thezey
Hi Nemo! Thanks for replying to my topic. I clicked on a carrier I have. However, I can't figure out what you said in order to set handling fee over 1kg. Could you please explain it to me in details? I have the 1.5.4.0 version. Thank you

NemoPS
No, you simply have to click and add a new range On the top
thezey
I'm sorry but I'm not getting it. If I add a range of price, how can it handle handling fee over 1kg, knowing that shipping cost is calculated according to weight?
NemoPS
Not price, weight range my bad sorry
thezey
Nemo1, If I add a new weight range, lets say from 1kg to 2kg, which is what i already have, I can't individualize handling fee, as it is for all ranges. How do you see that?
NemoPS
Then Shipping, shipping, last tab

I could increase the price per weight, but it's not fair because it's not related to the shipping cost anymore. I'd like to show handling fee field at checkout when people order over 1kg. If its under 1kg, then there won't be any Handling Fee field. Does it make sense?
