CMS block module.

I have recently began moving my online store from an OpenCart platform to a Pestashop platform.

 

I am running PrestaShop version 1.5.6.2.

 

My theme which I purchased a week ago is the "Buddie" theme for animals and pets.  I have an online pet shop.

 

The theme is for 1.5.6.1 - 1.5.6.2.

 

I have two issues I need help with.  The following link will get you to my front (Home) page, please note that I just started working on it:

Please have a look at the following two issues:

 

1.  I bring your attention to the LEFT series of blocks.  Please note that the Categories block is missing the title "CATEGORIES".  I need that fixed.

 

2.  Footer.  The CMS Block is responsible for placing links in the footer.  Please note that this block is not working and no attempt at editing the block has any affect on the footer itself.

 

The PrestaShop techs at In-Motion Hosting did verify that the block is working fine on the DEFAULT  but not at all on the "Buddie" theme.

 

One thing I noticed right away is that the developer created footer links by using the Static Block HTML and just putting them in the word processing area.  Very weird.  I deleted those links and proceeded to do it the right way using the CMS Block Module.  No luck.

 

Oh, by the way.  I did notify the developer and have yet to hear back.  Could someone assist me please?

UPDATE:  6/30/2014

 

Last night (6/29/2014) the developer fixed the CATEGORIES PROBLEM.  The title now shows up in the block.  The CMS Block still does not work.
