leo2108 Posted July 1, 2014 Author Share Posted July 1, 2014 I got the solution. We have to go to preferences -> images. In there we have to change the dimension of home_default to the required size. After that we have to regenerate thumbnail (the option is in the same tab). The mistake that I made was that I didn't regenerate the thumbnails.
