Frevab
Hi there I have moved my webshop (running v.1.4.9.0) to another host and amended the settings.php to match with the new database name, user and password. Site seems to work ok but I cannot login to backoffice. When I enter my usual usernamen and password it comes back with the same login screen, no errors. When I click forgot password it accepts my email username and sends me a new password which ends up in my mailbox alright. However when I use this new password I have the same problem. Comes back with the same login screen with empty fields, no error message. What have I done wrong? With my old host I had all in one directory "shop" directly under the www root. With my new host I have 2 domains in one host space so the in the root you have first a map called the same as the domain and in that map the "shop" map. Should I have this someone in settings.inc.php, perhaps in '__PS_BASE_URI__' ? Edited June 27, 2014 by Frevab (see edit history)
Frevab
Back office is working now. Used http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS14/System+Administrator+Guide#SystemAdministratorGuide-MovingPrestaShop to help me out and uploaded PS from backup into empty /shop folder. But now my front office does not show anything. Just blank page. No error, nothing. Database link is ok as I can see all products and images in my back office. Why does my front office not show anything? Moved my site from one host to another. Backup sites and uploaded all files (all was in folder /shop, so just backup up folder and uploaded folder) changed settins.inc.php to match the new database name/user/pw. Generated new .htaccess, deleted all files is tools/smarty/cache and /compile folders (except index.php if any). Samrty_v2 was already empty. Checked if shop was enabled in "preference" tab and it is. Any ideas anyone? Edited June 30, 2014 by Frevab (see edit history)
