Category Pages with images not displaying correctly (default theme)

Hi,

 

I'm moving from woocommerce over to Prestashop but I've hit a snag. For some reason category pages with images don't appear to display correctly. Categories with images seem to overlay the category description.

 

Any advice on how to fix this appreciated. I've attached a couple of images. One without a pic, the other with.

The way I get around this,

I simply format the text to stay

over to the left hand side of the page

just like I am typing here.

Yes that's how it's made. Category image is actually a background and your text overlays.

So you format the text on different lines? Sounds like a bit of a fudge.

There's one problem with this.

It doesn't look good on mobiles.

Also, its great your images work as banners, but what about the images for sub categories which are small squares? If you use a long banner it would get squashed in the sub category image.

 

Can I remove the image from the category banner without changing code? Thanks
