[BUG/Problem] PS 1.6.0.8Installation , no option anymore to install without DEMO data

Hi,

 

Since the release of Prestashop 1.6.0.8 one of the issue is that you can't install PS without the DEMO shop data. The option is gone.

This is a great issue for us because the PSclean module is also broken, it doesn't delete all the data.

 

Please fix this in the installer.

Hi, thanks for the post. The module cleaner does not work? Can you explain with some more detail.

I'll try to explain.

 

If we do a clean install without demo data , install our module to import products, categories etc etc etc it's working great.

 

If we do an install with demo data which is forced now and do a clean with PScleaner, install our module to import products,categories etc etc. We get errors about duplicate keys and strange results. So not everything is cleaned with this module

 

I really don't have time to compare the databases right now . I'm sorry.

 

I've found out that you need to set _PS_MODE_DEV_ to true to get the option to install without demo data. Why is that ? strange choice to do it like this
