Ability to use options

I am setting up a new e-comm site, and considering using PrestaShop. One feature that I need, though, I haven't been able to verify is available; I hope this is the correct place to post this inquiry.

We build custom outdoor furniture, and some of our pieces have several options available. For instance, when a customer orders a porch swing, they have the option of 4' or 5'; pine, cedar or oak; personalized lettering (would require another sub-category so the customer can input the wanted personalization); Cutouts (hearts, stars, etc)  

Selecting any of these options would add a charge to the price.

Is there a template/module in PrestaShop that would allow me to set up options like this on products?

You can achieve this by products attributes(combination).

and according to product combinations you  can set price varient.

Is this something that is built in, or does it have to be added? And does it automatically vary the price, so the customer can see real-time what their options will cost?

Yes this is built-in functionality.

You just create attributes and their values.

Then create required combination for product and price varient.
