Payments for multiple vendors/bank accounts

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We are a school with associations in 46 countries. Each Association has its own bank account/MID/gateway but the point of entry is one institutional website.

The US uses Authorize.net, Singapore - Worldpay, China - Paypal... I would need to configure this so that all membership fees go to the right gateway/bank account. Is this possible with one instance of Prestashop? or do I need multiple instances?

Thanks!

Yip. Yearly alumni association membership fees. Each amount decided by the local chapter and in the local currency.

UK has three products:

1. Standard Membership 100 GBP

2. 3 year membership 250 GBP

3. 6 months membership for new graduates 40 GBP

France has four products in Euros... etc...

And would you ever expect someone to purchase multiple memberships across different countries?

You can configure your payment modules so they are only available to specific countries (based on customer address used in checkout).  This should work so that auth.net would only appear for for customers with a US address, but it will not work if

1) A customer with a US address purchases a UK membership

2) A customer with US address purchases a UK and US membership within the same cart.

As you can see, you will need to provide more details on how you run your business, and what your expectations are in order to receive additional support.

Thanks for your patience Bellini13.

We would never expect someone to purchase multiple memberships across different countries...

We have created a portal that identifies the user based on locality etc. If I am in the UK, them I would only see the membership renewal page for the UK renewal. I would buy 1 article in the UK category for example and then proceed to payment.

Right now I am very interested to know if technically, this is possible with Prestashop or if we need to look at another tool. We will probably launch an RFP for implementation.

As I said, you can restrict payment modules based on the country selected during checkout.  if you always expect a UK country when purchasing a UK membership, then this approach should work for you.

If you need something more complex, you can consider multi-store functionality, one store per association.

You can make different memberships, and limit them to countries with an additional paid module.

Then you can assign products to an country (ip range). If the product is not assigned to a country, it will not show it.
