Timing problem with first image on image slider V1.5

I hope someone out there can give me a clue as to what is going on.

 

There seems to be a timing problem with the first image on the image slider in V1.5.  Sometimes the image stays on the screen a very short period of time, other times is seems ok.  Also, the transition fromt the last image to the first image is very jumpy.

 

I have about 15 images in the image slider.
