Problem when upgrading mailalerts module to v.3.2.8

Hi,

Under Prestashop 1.5.6.2, I made au update of the mailalerts module to the last version 3.2.8.

When someone places an order, I properly receive the merchant notification.

But the client receives no confirmation of order.

In addition when a client sends a message through the contact form he does receive a copy of his request.

However when I send to me a test e-mail (in advanced parameters > Emails), I properly receive it.

I tried to re-initiate the module, but with no effect.

The mailalerts module is not responsible for sending an email to the customer, it only sends an email to the configured email addresses.  So if you are receiving the merchant notification, then mailalerts is working properly.

The mailalert module was not responsible. For an unknown reason, some e-mail addresses entered just after the mailalert module upgrade did not receive order confirmation.

But, later on, other e-mail addresses received properly the order confirmation.
