eric232
I have found that navigating to PrestaShop sites with my Blackberry Curve is a disaster. It acts as if I have come under some sort of virus attack. This is only with JavaScript enabled. The symptom is that the loading becomes extremely slow, and that an hourglass starts slowly flashing. The hourglass flashing continues even after navigating away from that site, necessitating removing the battery from the device for a hard reboot. If JavaScript is turned off, there is no problem. This symptom occurs on the PrestaShop demo site, all of the live showcase sites I have attempted to visit, and any shops found with a Google search looking for "powered by PrestaShop". Interestingly, the problem does not happen when surfing the PrestaShop.com site. This problem also occurs infrequently at other sites where I am unable to determine what shopping cart software they are using. My Blackberry Curve is an 8310 model, running CDMA, and Blackberry's v4.2.2.181 operating system. Is anyone able to verify this symptom on other Blackberry or mobile devices? Any thoughts as to what is going on? Any suggestions?
christopherdarling
Using a Blackberry Bold and my site loads quick and fine on Internet Browser.Which browser are you using on your mobile? There's a setting I think to make it identify as Firefox, rather than Blackberry which might help?
eric232
Maybe Blackberry corrected the problem with the Bold, which came out after the Curve. I have never seen anything to do with FireFox in my Settings or Options. Where, exactly, is the setting on your Bold? Do you have JavaScript enabled when accessing the site? Have you tried accessing the PrestaShop demo site Front Office?
