JsusSalv
I managed to setup Prestashop 1.2.5 and was able to complete the following sections:1) Welcome!2) System compatibility3) System configurationBut the installer will not move to section 4 (Shop configuration) which means I cannot setup admin users. I've setup Prestashop on several other servers but have never had this problem before.Any suggestions? Or should I install an older version of Prestashop?Merci! prestabase
If I remember correctly that was happening to us as well when trying to use a database password that included symbols. Try using only alphanumeric for your DB user and see if that solves it.

Perhaps the length of the password? If it helps any, I'm using a 64-bit Linux distro with PHP 5.3.0 and MySQL 5.1.
prestabase
I think that wan an issue too, try using 8 characters. When you hit next on that step it may take a few seconds to move on since it's creating the tables.
Magnusvb
Hello JsusSalveDid you solved this problem? I have it to On a Mac with PHP 5.3 and MySql 5.1Regards, Magnus
JsusSalv
I haven't yet Magnus. I'm thinking since my version of Prestashop is ancient I may need to upgrade through every version until I get to 1.2.5. Sounds silly but upgrading directly to 1.2.5 isn't working any other way. I've tried using different servers, different directories, modifying the SQL, PHP, etc...nothing seems to work with this upgrade.I'll keep you posted on my progress and any solutions/ideas I come across.
