EMAILS sending don't work at all

All emails services dont't work.
at :

- NEWSLETTER

- Change status message in order + when i input the sending tracking number
- Send an email to a friend from product page

 

I've tried everything :
Normal Php settings.
THE test message works but NOTHING else.

 

My own setting SMTP : BUT : I get 

Error: Please check your configuration
Authentication failed using username "****" and password"****" 

I've also tried to input my Gmail. SAME ERROR.

I turned degug on, but nothing appears.

I've spent hours to figure it out.,
 

I've read everything I could. Did everything exc. modify the swift/message.php  file ( do not want to mess it up (yet :-( ) ).. it's a brand new installation. 

NOTE : I run several CMS ( WP )
CAn anaybody send out a REAL  SOLUTION ? This problem appears to be quite a lot.
